This role is field-based with hybrid flexibility and reports to the MSL Manager, Pipeline Solid Tumors. This position covers the entire province of Ontario. The ideal candidate will reside in or near the Greater Toronto Area.Details (Your Responsibilities)Build and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with oncology specialists and other healthcare professionals; communicate balanced, evidence-based information to support clinical decision makingAct as the field-based scientific expert for your territory, staying current on solid tumor biology, treatment approaches and the evolving scientific landscapeGather and report clinical and practice insights from the field to inform pipeline medical strategy, evidence generation and local operational plansSupport clinical development by identifying and qualifying potential investigators and clinical trial sites across CanadaRepresent GSK at scientific meetings and congresses, supporting expert engagement, session coverage and knowledge sharingDeliver scientific training to internal colleagues using approved materials and contribute to cross-functional projects as requiredBasic QualificationsAdvanced post‑graduate scientific degree (MD, PhD,



or PharmD).Proven ability to explain and present complex scientific data clearly to clinical audiences.Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare environment, including hospital systems and access pathways.Valid Canadian driver’s licence and ability to travel within the territory (up to 60–70%).Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet objectives in a field‑based role.Preferred Qualifications2+ years of prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison or similar medical affairs role, ideally in oncology or solid tumors.Established network and relationships with oncology clinicians in Canada.Experience supporting clinical trials, investigator‑initiated studies, or real‑world evidence projects.Familiarity with Canadian reimbursement and access processes.Bilingual capability in English and French for bilingual territories.Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Salary: CAD 129,000 to CAD 179,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.GSK is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
