Position Overview

We are a growing, family run automotive repair shop specializing in Audi, VW, Euro and Air Cooled Volkswagen platforms. We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Automotive Technician with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience to join our team.

This role is designed to support shop growth by taking on intermediate-to-advanced repair and diagnostic work, allowing senior leadership to focus on complex projects while maintaining structured training opportunities for apprentices.

You do not need to be a European specialist — but an interest in Audi and classic VW platforms is a solid asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles (Audi, VW, BMW, Mercedes)
- Handle mid-level to advanced repairs with minimal supervision
- Identify additional repair opportunities and communicate clearly with the Service Writer
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces
- Support and mentor apprentices where appropriate
- Maintain strong repair quality with low comeback rates

Qualifications

- Journeyman Automotive Technician certification
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on industry experience
- Strong diagnostic ability is an asset
- Ability to work independently
- Solid communication skills
- Experience in European or specialty vehicles (highly preferred, not required)
- Valid driver’s license

Compensation





- Starting at $35 per hour or based on experience (increases based on experience, productivity, and leadership contribution) up to $55/Hr
- Pay increases tied to performance and responsibility

-Licensed Automotive Service Technician

-Experience working on European vehicles preferred

-Own tools

-Must have a clean drivers abstract

-Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in workmanship

-Good communication skills

-Able to work with minimal supervision
