Camrose Car Corner is looking for a Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to take on a lead role in our service department. This is a full‑time, stable position with no weekend work and guaranteed long‑weekend time off. If you want to run a shop, lead a team, and take pride in your work, this is the job.

Position Overview

You will be the lead mechanic and shop foreman, responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring accurate quotes, supporting the service writer, and maintaining smooth workflow through the service department. You’ll also handle diagnostics, repairs, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead mechanic for the dealership — responsible for shop operations
- Oversee workflow, repair quality, and shop organization
- Ensure accurate quotes and proper repair recommendations
- Work with the Service Writer to book jobs and manage scheduling
- Maintain efficient flow of work through the service department
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles
- Mentor apprentices and support shop development




- Communicate with customers when needed
- Ensure safety, compliance, and high‑quality workmanship

Requirements

- Certified Journeyman Automotive Service Technician
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lead a shop and manage workflow
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working with front‑end staff and service writer
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Valid driver’s license
