The position involves making phone calls to raise funds in support of the ministry and is based at our head office in Langley, BC, requiring in‑office presence.Key ResponsibilitiesOutbound CallingMake donation appeal calls to our established constituent base.Take prayer requests and, occasionally, pray on the phone with constituents.Track calls in our database.Interact with constituents on behalf of the ministry and respond to basic inquiries.Customer ServiceConsistently update the database with new or updated constituent account information.Represent the ministry with excellence and compassion by treating each constituent with respect and understanding.Identify needs and assist the constituent in connecting to ministries within Focus on the Family Canada.Other duties (may change subject to departmental needs)Track and record hours and tasks completed on a daily basis.Perform general administrative duties.About YouYou thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.You have a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.You are comfortable praying with constituents over the phone.You are driven and self‑motivated, with a willingness to be held accountable to weekly calling targets.You are comfortable performing repetitive tasks and using the phone to connect with people.You have a solid understanding of the mission and vision of Focus on the Family Canada, and our products and programs (additional asset).You have experience in customer service and call‑centre experience (additional asset).QualificationsGrade 12 diploma or equivalent, or currently pursuing post‑secondary education.Undergraduate or postgraduate students are encouraged to apply.1–2 years of customer service experience.Proven aptitude for learning new software.Ability to multitask and type at a reasonable speed.Excellent interpersonal skills.Other RequirementsThis important role requires an individual who can sign and adhere to our Christian Foundations and Standards.#J-18808-Ljbffr
