We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Reception/Junior Accounting Technician to join our bookkeeping team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting. Over quailified candidates will not be considered.

The Junior Accounting

Technician will assist with various accounting tasks, including data entry, account analysis, and managing accounts payable and receivable. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in math and a willingness to learn accounting software.

Responsibilities

- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and account analysis.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage for various accounting functions.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.




- Respond to inquiries related to accounts and financial statements.
- Answer telephone as needed

Qualifications

- Proficiency in basic math skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software (experience with QuickBooks and Sage is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to analyze accounts and assist in financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new processes and systems.
- Prior experience or coursework in accounting is preferred but not required.
