About the Company
Our client, a leading professional services firm is seeking a Junior Marketing Assistant to join their Business Development team.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Marketing Officer and Client and Business Development team
- Assist with marketing and business development budgets, invoices, expenses and credit card reconciliations
- Coordinate payments and deadlines for advertising, publishing, branding and marketing vendors
- Assist with branded merchandise orders, fulfillment and inventory management
- Support sponsorship initiatives, including payment processing and event logistics
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel and assist with expense reporting
- Assist with email organization, filing and document management
- Coordinate photo shoots for lawyers and senior staff, including scheduling and vendor coordination
- Assist with business development projects, meeting coordination and document management
- Assist with updates to the firm's intranet and website content
- Support website updates, including job postings, lawyer profiles and staff changes
- Track email bounce-backs and coordinate information with the CRM team
- Assist with gathering and organizing marketing and business development content
- Provide additional administrative and project support as required
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, administration, business development or a corporate environment
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations or a related field is an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn recent systems and software quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and personable with the ability to interact confidently with senior professionals, lawyers, vendors and colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Flexible and comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities
- Occasional early morning or evening availability may be required for events
Compensation
- Up to $60,000, commensurate with experience
- Hybrid work schedule
- Opportunity to develop experience across marketing, communications, events and business development
