ACS Valves is a leading manufacturer of Rotary Airlock Valves and Gypsum Pin Mixers and is looking for a Junior Mechanical Designer to join our Engineering department in an engineer to order environment. The Junior Mechanical Designer will work with AutoCAD, Solidworks and Microsoft Office and support the Sales and Purchasing Department, with occasional external communication to customers or vendors.

Key Responsibilties:

- Create and modify 2D layouts in AutoCAD and 3D models in SolidWorks.
- Review contract requirements and customer specifications to ensure compliance with quotation and customer purchase order
- Use Microsoft Word to produce accurate Work Orders or Bills of Materials (BOM), and use Microsoft Excel for project tracking
- Add and Deduct Inventory Levels
- Manage project-related internal & external email correspondence and serve as a point of contact for customer communication, along with the Sales Department, to provide status updates and gather project requirements.




- Work closely with Sales/Purchasing/ Production personnel

Requirements:

- Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks is required
- Comfortable using the MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Background in Mechanical Design
- Good verbal and written communication with ability to work well with others
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
- Well organized and able to prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail
