We have an opening for a Junior Videographer to join our team. This role supports the production of video and photography content across client projects, working alongside our production team to help capture, edit, and deliver polished content while building foundational skills in the craft.

The Role:
We’re currently looking for a Junior Videographer to join our rapidly growing photo/video team at SitePartners. This role will require a number of skills to contribute in all phases of video production, and an ability to deliver a diverse styles of video production (i.e., interview/docu-style, conceptual commercial advertising, short-form storytelling and more). We’re looking for a resourceful storyteller/shaper who is passionate about producing great video work.
Most importantly, this ideal candidate has the portfolio of video production and post-production examples to back it up.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Support
- Assist in capturing video and photography content across client and internal productions
- Support camera operation, lighting, and audio setup under direction
- Assist with setup and teardown of production equipment
- Follow production plans and shot lists to support execution
Post-Production Support
- Assist in editing video and basic photo content for social, marketing, and internal use
- Support file organization, asset management, and project setup
- Execute basic edits, cuts, color corrections, and formatting tasks
Equipment & Studio Support
- Maintain and organize camera, lighting, and audio equipment
- Support gear preparation and packing for shoots
- Assist with studio setup and operations
Travel & On-Site Support
- Frequent travel, primarily within BC, to support client and internal productions
- Represent SitePartners professionally on-site while supporting production execution
- Adapt to changing environments and follow direction during on-location work
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Experience with video and photo production, whether through school, personal projects, or early qualified work
- Working familiarity with camera, lighting, and audio equipment
- Basic proficiency with editing software (Premiere Pro, or similar) is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in visual storytelling
- Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
- A valid driver's license for travel to shoots
- Physically able to lift 30lbs regularly to operate video equipment. (This stuff is heavy.)
