Valcom Consulting Group Inc has an immediate requirement for a Junior Technician to provide support and fielding activities to our client, the Directorate of Land Command Systems Program Management (DLCSPM) in support of the Canadian Army's Equipment Fielding Detachment (EFD).

Contract is in support of Land Command Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (LC4ISR) modifications in support of the Canadian Army force generation and force employment at Canadian Forces Base Gagetown, NB.

To be considered for this opportunity, the candidate must be able to meet the following criteria:

(a) Must have a minimum of a secondary school graduation Diploma/Certificate:

(b) Must be able to obtain a minimum Government of Canada security clearance at the level of Secret. This will be sponsored by Valcom during the selection process;

(c) Must be able to obtain a valid Controlled Goods certification.

(d) Must be able to obtain a valid workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certificate;

(e) Must be able to obtain a valid Standard First Aid certificate In addition to the above, the candidate must have some experience in:

1. Communications or information systems installation in vehicles,
2. Maintenance of communications or information systems in vehicles,
3. Technical support to a digital communication system that includes information systems voice and/or data transmission on mobile systems.

Pay: $67,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
