Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of animals in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a robust passion for animal welfare, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as required.

This position is essential in ensuring a safe and clean environment for our furry clients while providing exceptional service to their owners. We do train all issues with dogs this includes human reactive, dog reactive and dogs with bite history's.

Can not be scared of human reactive dogs

Responsibilities

- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas by performing regular cleaning tasks.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management.
- Assist with customer service duties, including greeting pet owners and answering inquiries.




- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect both animals and staff.
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Experience

- Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Customer service experience is highly valued, as interaction with pet owners is a key component of the role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are necessary for success in this position.
