Dawson Creek
**Deep Physio is looking for an energetic, team-oriented Kinesiologist who wants to build a career in a high-performance sports and rehab environment. You'll join a collaborative multidisciplinary team in a busy, state-of-the-art clinic with an integrated pilates/yoga studio, a steady flow of motivated patients, and strong mentorship to grow your skills and career.
About Deep Physio
Deep Physio is a busy, modern multidisciplinary clinic in Dawson Creek, BC, known across the Peace Country for excellent, patient-centered care. Our team of physiotherapists, kinesiologists, RMTs, and dedicated support staff work closely together to deliver integrated, evidence-informed rehab to an active, motivated patient population. We are an energetic, collaborative team that thrives on excellent patient-centered care, and we are constantly innovating and growing—unlocking unlimited potential, personally and professionally.
If you are passionate about movement, eager to learn, and excited to grow within a forward-thinking clinic, you'll feel right at home here.
About the Role
As a Kinesiologist at Deep Physio, you'll work as part of our multidisciplinary team, delivering exercise-based care under the delegation and supervision of our physiotherapists. This is an employee-based role, not an independent contractor arrangement—so you'll enjoy the stability of an hourly wage, a full benefits package, and ongoing investment in your professional development. You'll be hands-on with patients from day one, leading exercise programming, personal training, physiotherapy-delegated active rehab treatments, and group training and rehab classes.
This is a fantastic role for a kinesiologist who loves coaching movement, building programs, and seeing patients progress—whether that's an athlete returning to sport, a tradesperson getting back to work, or someone rebuilding confidence after injury. You'll work closely with physios who will delegate treatments, guide your clinical reasoning, and help you grow. If you have a personal training background, even better—you'll get to put those skills to work in a clinical, outcome-focused setting.
New grads are welcome and will receive mentorship; experienced kinesiologists will find a busy caseload, autonomy within a cooperative team, and real room to grow.
What We Offer
Employee-based role with a competitive hourly rate of $25–$30 per hour,
based on experience.
Comprehensive benefits package, including Extended Health Benefits (EHB), Short-Term Disability (STD), and Long-Term Disability (LTD).
Course funding to support continuing education, certifications, and professional development.
Supportive, collaborative team culture with physios, kins, and RMTs who value communication, shared problem-solving, and excellent patient care.
Structured mentorship and ongoing learning for new grads, plus peer collaboration and growth opportunities for more experienced kinesiologists.
Clear opportunities for career growth—personally and within the clinic—through advanced training, expanded roles, and leadership potential as the practice continues to grow.
Modern sports rehab facility featuring Class IV laser therapy, shockwave therapy, traction table, Exerfly flywheel training system, a full gym, and private treatment rooms.
On-site pilates/yoga studio and a strong active-population caseload for kinesiologists who enjoy working with motivated, fitness-focused clients.
Dedicated support staff for patient flow, billing, scheduling, and administration—so your time stays focused on treatment, not paperwork.
A culture that supports continuing education, skill development, and the pursuit of advanced certifications.
Team learning, in-services, and a shared environment where curiosity and new ideas are welcomed.
Relocation assistance available for the right candidate; we welcome applicants from across BC and Canada.
Your Role
Design and progress individualized exercise programs tailored to each patient's presentation, goals, and tolerance.
Deliver physiotherapy-delegated active rehab treatments under the guidance and supervision of our physiotherapists.
Provide personal training for clients looking to build strength, performance, and resilience in a clinical setting.
Lead group training and rehab classes, including ground-based and functional training sessions.
Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to create integrated treatment plans and progress active, engaged patients.
Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations clearly and professionally with patients, colleagues, and referring providers.
Maintain accurate, efficient charting and documentation using Jane App.
Recognize red flags and refer appropriately to physiotherapy, medicine, or other providers when indicated.
Contribute to a positive clinic environment through clear communication, dependable follow-up, and a focus on great patient experiences and outcomes.
Who You Are
Kinesiologist with current or eligible BCAK (British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists) registration, or willing to obtain registration.
Personal training experience or certification—bringing a coaching, hands-on approach to movement and strength.
Strong interest in MSK, sports/ortho, active-population, and rehab-focused exercise therapy.
Committed to teamwork, ongoing learning, and high-quality, patient-centered care.
Able to manage a full but sustainable schedule while maintaining quality and your own self-care.
Professional, reliable, and strong in communication and clinical reasoning.
Recent grads are welcome and will receive mentorship; experienced kinesiologists who enjoy autonomy within a collaborative team are strongly encouraged to apply.
What Success Looks Like A steady, full caseload with strong patient retention and positive outcomes.
Collaborative, well-coordinated care with the wider clinical team.
Patients who feel heard, supported, and confident in their programs.
Steady qualified growth through mentorship, learning, and new clinical skills.
A positive, energizing presence in the clinic that reflects our culture.
How to Apply
If this sounds like the right fit, we'd love to hear from you. Please send your resume and a short cover note telling us about yourself, your clinical and personal training experience, the populations you most enjoy working with, and what you're looking for in your next role. The more we understand about what motivates you and where you'd like to grow, the better we can picture you on our team.
