Duties

- Thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables, peeling, and basic ingredient handling
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and dining spaces
- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
- Help with waste disposal and recycling to keep the kitchen environment tidy and safe
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use
- Support hospitality staff during busy service times by ensuring cleanliness of dining areas when needed

Requirements





- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is key!
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and food safety standards is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Basic understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Previous hotel or food service experience is advantageous but not required
