Duties

- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure timely meal production
- Support cooking activities by following established recipes and safety guidelines under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Help with food handling procedures, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients to prevent contamination
- Support serving staff by preparing plates or trays for delivery or dine-in service
- Ensure the kitchen area is organized, stocked with necessary supplies, and free of hazards at all times




- Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene practices to promote a safe dining environment for staff and guests

Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is mandatory; eagerness to learn is key!
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques are highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others in busy kitchen settings
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality and safety in all food-related tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
