Job Overview

We need some help in the kitchen! Cooking, prepping, dishes, cleaning, a little bit of everything! We're looking for a motivated individual who is a self starter, very comfortable working on a team, a looking for positive work environment to assist in our busy little kitchen operation. Experience is an asset but not a requirement.

Duties

- Assist in meal preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of dishes that meet quality standards
- Handle food with care, following all food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination
- Support the kitchen team with food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and optimize resources
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment regularly
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours




- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to uphold a safe working setting for everyone

Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is key!
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards (such as HACCP or local regulations)
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail when preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to take direction
- Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates

Pay: $18.50-$22.50 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
