Duties

- Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and prepared foods
- Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Help with inventory management by receiving deliveries and rotating stock appropriately
- Support the team in maintaining a hygienic environment by adhering to health regulations and safety procedures




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food presentation

Experience

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen safety standards
- Experience with food handling, sanitation, and adhering to health regulations in a commercial kitchen setting
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities in a fast-paced environment
