We are a locally owned, family-run eatery focused on serving delicious, wholesome vegan and gluten-free food made with quality, locally sourced ingredients. We’re looking for a reliable, positive, and hardworking Kitchen Staff / Line Cook to join our team.

About the Role

As a member of our kitchen team, you’ll help prepare fresh food, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure every dish meets our standards for quality, flavour, presentation, and dietary requirements.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a small team, and genuinely cares about the food and experience we provide to our customers.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Assist with food prep, including chopping, portioning, sauces, dressings, and other components
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Follow proper food safety, handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Pay close attention to gluten-free and allergen protocols to prevent cross-contamination
- Ensure food is prepared consistently and presented with care
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating ingredients
- Help maintain kitchen equipment and supplies
- Work efficiently during busy service periods




- Communicate clearly and respectfully with kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, family-style workplace

What We’re Looking For
- Previous kitchen or line cook experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working as part of a small team
- Passion for fresh, healthy food and quality ingredients
- Understanding of or willingness to learn vegan, gluten-free, and allergen-safe food preparation
