Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation to ensure timely service
- Cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Support food service operations by serving dishes promptly and courteously to customers
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring expiration dates
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone
Skills
- Proven experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant settings
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
- Experience in serving customers or supporting front-of-house operations is a plus
- Basic kitchen experience with familiarity in using kitchen tools and equipment
