Summary

We are seeking a skilled Boom Truck Operator to join our dynamic team . In this role, you will be essential in operating boom trucks and supporting construction projects that enhance rail safety and infrastructure. Your expertise will contribute directly to our mission of delivering reliable and protected rail services.

Responsibilities

- Operate boom trucks safely and efficiently during construction and maintenance projects.
- Assist with rigging and crane operations to support rail infrastructure development.
- Conduct routine inspections and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to coordinate project activities safely.
- Follow all safety protocols of job sites and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating boom trucks in construction or rail environments.




- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications to operating heavy machinery including a valid 10 ton or greater folding boom ticket.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment..
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards with strong understanding of CROR/track protection, safe rigging techniques and lifting operations.
- ERail Safe knowledge and ability to complete course as required.
- Willingness to travel across Canada as required.

Physical Demands

- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and/or sitting for extended periods of time.
- Push/pulling/lifting/moving over 50 pounds.
- Working in adverse weather conditions.
- Walking/standing on uneven surfaces.

Experience:
- Boom truck: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
- Valid driver's license/ 10 ton folding boom ticket. (preferred)

Willingness to travel:
