Job Title: Marketing Data Analyst

Reports To: Senior Manager, Consumer Insights and Market Research

Job Summary: The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support predictive business efforts. This role involves identifying trends and patterns, ensuring data quality, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders. The Data Analyst will also manage data security, integrate complex data sources, and stay updated with the latest analytical tools and technologies.

JOB SUMMARY The Knowledge Mobilization Sr. Analyst will be joining a dynamic team that plays a crucial role in helping Bayshore research consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to design action plans that foster business growth.

This role will support the translation of research findings into actionable recommendations, resources, and stakeholder-facing deliverables that improve decision-making, customer experience, service quality, and business performance.

Projects will require the use of qualitative, quantitative, AI-enabled, operational, and online research data for the purpose of providing comprehensive support to different departments and functions of the business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Thoroughly understand the functioning of internal data systems and maintain databases.
- Design, lead, and conduct primary and secondary market research to identify target respondent requirements, habits, preferences, experiences, and emerging trends.
- Collect data on consumers, competitors, healthcare stakeholders, and marketplace dynamics and consolidate information into actionable reports, presentations, and recommendations.
- Understand business objectives and design surveys, stakeholder interviews, discussion guides, and engagement approaches to uncover customer, patient, caregiver, and healthcare provider perspectives.
- Compile and analyze statistical, operational, survey, and research data using appropriate analytical and reporting tools.
- Interpret findings, formulate reports, make recommendations, and support the development of action plans.
- Use AI for secondary online research to gather and catalogue findings, identify insights, and develop recommendations.




- Provide competitive analysis on market offerings, industry trends, pricing structures, business models, healthcare innovations, and consumer experience best practices.
- Leverage a robust understanding of consumer trends, healthcare delivery models, patient experiences, technology trends, and best-in-class service experiences to support quality improvement, program evaluation, and outcomes measurement initiatives
- Translate research findings into practical recommendations, educational materials, presentations, and knowledge-sharing resources to facilitate organizational learning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with marketing, operational, clinical, and business stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and research projects.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities including interviews, workshops, journey-mapping exercises, focus groups, and knowledge-sharing initiatives across internal and external audiences.
- Ensure research activities are conducted in accordance with applicable privacy, ethical, data governance, and organizational standards.
- Work with other team members to tackle quick turnaround requests.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders regarding priorities, strategy, progress, risks, and adjustments.
- Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of client, patient, employee, and corporate information and discuss same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.

EPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Reports directly to the Manager, Consumer Insights and Market Research

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Hybrid work; commute to office (2101 Hadwen road, Mississauga, ON) at least once a week
- 3+ years of demonstrated success and experience in market research, healthcare research, consumer insights, program evaluation, quality improvement, journey mapping, or related analytical fields.
- Ability to gather and interpret large amounts of primary, secondary, operational, and stakeholder-derived data.
- Excellent knowledge of research methodologies, business research tools, evidence synthesis, and database management.
- Familiarity with CRM programs is a plus.
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methodologies including surveys, stakeholder interviews, focus groups, observational research, and program evaluation approaches.
- Knowledge of research ethics, privacy requirements, informed consent processes, and research governance frameworks is considered a strong asset.
- Strong ability to translate complex research findings into practical business recommendations and stakeholder-friendly communications.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder engagement, knowledge mobilization, and cross-functional collaboration initiatives is considered an asset.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Skilled at independent project management and organization.
- Experience seeing projects through the full lifecycle.




- Proven ability to complete projects according to scope, budget, and timeline.
- Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated prioritization ability, solution-oriented mindset and adaptability under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Completion of a college or university level business program
- 1 to 2 years of demonstrated success and experience in relevant field – Data Analysis
- Excellent knowledge of statistical packages, databases, and business research tools acumen
- Familiarity with CRM programs and Project Management
- Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling, and mining and validation techniques
- Current knowledge of PowerBI and Microsoft Excel for data analysis
