Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band 15 $33.440 to $35.830 (3 step range)

: Performs a variety of analytical procedures, analysis and laboratory duties for the detection, diagnosis, prevention and management of disease and illness.

Education

- Major dependent on specific specialty area:
- Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in defined science & required courses
- e.g. Chemistry required in Chemistry, Microbiology in Microbiology, etc.

Other Information

- Valid driver's license, where required
- BSC 4-yr degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
- Intro Chemistry (similar to U of R Chemistry 104 or 105)
- Organic Chemistry (similar to U of R Chemistry 241)
- Analytical Chemistry I, II (similar to U of R Chemistry 210, 310/215)
- Separation Chemistry (Similar to U of R Chemistry 312)
- Biochemistry (6 Cr. Hrs.)
- Statistics (3 Cr. Hrs.)
