Duties

- Assist with excavation activities using hand tools and machinery under supervision
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling surfaces, and setting up safety barriers
- Operate basic earth-moving equipment such as mini excavators or skid steers when trained and certified
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues
- Support the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other earthworks components
- Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to quality standards




- Maintain a clean work area by removing waste materials and organizing tools and equipment

Qualifications

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Prior experience in construction or earthworks is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the importance of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Basic understanding of construction site operations and machinery handling (training provided if necessary)
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required; reliable transportation is beneficial
- Certifications such as OSHA safety training or machinery operation are a plus but can be obtained upon hire
