Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Labourer specializing in Non-Ferrous materials to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the efficient handling, processing, and cleaning of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, and other non-magnetic metals. Your hands-on approach and commitment to safety will ensure smooth operations within our manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate loaders, excavators, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely to move non-ferrous materials within the facility.
- Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of work areas, machinery, and storage zones to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Support manufacturing processes by preparing materials for processing or shipment as directed by supervisors.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks manually or with equipment to transport materials across different areas of the site.




- Maintain safety protocols during all operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with general site maintenance, including waste removal, debris clearing, and ensuring a tidy work setting.

Experience

- Prior experience operating loaders, excavators, or forklifts is highly desirable.
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with cleaning and sanitation procedures within a production setting.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and material handling is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
