Position OverviewWe are looking for a dependable Labourer / Receiver to support warehouse receiving and general material-handling activities. This role combines physical warehouse work with basic administrative responsibilities, including shipment verification, documentation, and data entry.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, handling products safely, and keeping accurate records in a busy warehouse environment.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

- Prepare the receiving area for incoming deliveries.
- Assist with unloading trucks and moving products to designated warehouse locations.
- Check incoming goods for correct quantities, visible damage, and general condition.
- Compare received products against shipment paperwork and report any discrepancies.
- Sort, stage, and organize materials before they are put away.
- Update receiving records and enter shipment information into internal systems.
- Help maintain accurate inventory and product location information.
- Coordinate with warehouse team members to ensure incoming goods are handled efficiently.

Additional Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse labour as required throughout the shift.
- Move boxes, pallets, products, and other materials manually or using available warehouse equipment.
- Label, organize, and prepare goods for storage or further processing.




- Assist with inventory counts and basic stock checks when required.
- Complete paperwork clearly and accurately.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
- Support other warehouse departments during busier periods.
- Perform lifting, bending, walking, and standing throughout the shift.
- Handle heavier products when required.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, inventory, shipping, or general warehouse operations is preferred.
- Comfortable completing basic computer-based data entry.
- Experience working with receiving documents, shipment records, inventory information, or similar paperwork is an asset.
- Able to accurately compare products, quantities, and documentation.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding warehouse work.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to follow instructions and established warehouse procedures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are key for this position.
- Able to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with supervisors and other warehouse staff.
