We maintain a large staff of experienced land agents to ensure the unique requirements of our clientele are met.

About the Role

Elexco is seeking Land Agents to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, results-oriented and have a positive attitude. The position will report to Elexco’s Land Manager, Dale Norman. Candidates will be required to travel daily and may be required to stay at work locations for up to 5 days / week depending on their own proximity to the area of work.

The Land

Agent is responsible for negotiating leases, rights of way, easements, surface agreements, damage settlements, and obtaining any signatures required from Landowners. Land experience would be a plus. Highly motivated individuals with reliable transportation, valuable driving record, valid driver's license, and own computer should submit their resume and salary expectations.

Responsibilities

- Securing land rights for solar, wind,



battery storage, gas, and oil projects by working with land owners and other external parties.
- Pursue leads provided by Elexco.
- Prepare, negotiate, manage, and review site control documents including purchase and lease agreements and easements.
- Develop an understanding of regulatory, policy, and market forces in the Province/region in which you operate.
- Conduct regular visits to prospective sites to meet with landowners and evaluate site qualifications and negotiate agreements.

Qualifications

- Located in the Province of Ontario
- Experience in solar, wind, battery storage, oil and gas, or ROW negotiations a plus
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Independent and resourceful agent that is proficient in dealing with people, time management and negotiations.
- Any sort of sales, marketing or public relations experience or education will be helpful.

Interview Process & Compensation
- The first call will be with Dale Norman, Land Manager to discuss the role and your experience.
- Compensation will be Salary.
