RD Landscaping Inc is a full-service landscape company providing qualified residential and commercial landscape construction, maintenance, hardscapes, and irrigation installations in Kelowna and the surrounding area.

RD Landscaping Inc is looking for an experienced Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to organize and oversee our maintenance teams. You will be the one to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people.

The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various company processes. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan many different kinds of operational activities. He/She must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the maintenance crews and not be afraid to step into the field, if required.

Responsibilities

- Liaise with the operations director to make decisions for operational activities
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the landscape maintenance division to ensure smooth progress
- Supervise, hire and train staff and provide constructive feedback on multiple crews and job sites




- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
- Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction

Requirements:

- Knowledge of the landscaping industry particularly as it pertains to landscape maintenance
- Proven experience as a supervisor or equivalent position
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Outstanding communication and people skills
- A horticultural degree or similar certification
- Pesticide applicator licence is an asset
- Ability to drive truck/trailer
- Ability to drive a skid steer is an asset
- Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot without supervision

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
