Responsibilities

- Execute landscape installation projects including planting, grading, and soil preparation to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for site preparation and construction tasks
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and system functionality
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for trimming, pruning, edging, and general landscape upkeep
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, fertilizing, weed control, and mulching to keep outdoor areas pristine
- Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify issues requiring mechanical knowledge or repair




- Assist with construction projects like building retaining walls or installing features using appropriate techniques and safety standards

Requirements

- Prior experience with landscaping tasks or construction work is highly desirable
- Proficiency with mechanical tools, hand tools, and power tools used in landscaping and maintenance
- Knowledge of horticulture principles including planting, pruning, and soil health
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices to preserve plant health and aesthetics
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery repair or troubleshooting is a plus
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when needed
