Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, towels, and other laundry items to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation. The ideal candidate will have prior hotel experience and a strong understanding of laundry and cleaning procedures.

Duties

- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines efficiently and safely
- Sort, load, and unload laundry items according to established procedures
- Inspect linens and towels for stains or damages and report any issues promptly
- Fold, organize, and stock clean laundry in designated areas for easy access
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing work surfaces and equipment




- Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation
- Assist with general cleaning duties around the facility as needed to support overall hygiene standards

Qualifications

- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of laundry processes, including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Strong attention to detail and a naturally organized approach
- Ability to keep pace during busy periods without cutting corners
- Comfortable following cleaning and safety procedures
- Dependable, punctual, and good with time management
- Able to work well independently and alongside a small team

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
