What you will do The Lead/Lead Librarian, Wellbeing Outcomes, provides direction on the planning, training, and assessment of system-wide programs, outreach initiatives, tours, and advanced reference, readers’ advisory, and technology support for all target user groups within their assigned outcomes area. The Wellbeing Outcomes Lead/Lead Librarian works closely with schools, community partners, and other organizations to provide outreach, programming, and tour opportunities.

In this role you will:

- Maintain a strong understanding of current programming, technology, and reference trends within the assigned outcome area
- Identify and address barriers to wellbeing within the assigned outcome area
- Support volunteer engagement opportunities
- Identify partnership or co-creation opportunities with community agencies,



and engage with the community to support and encourage active participation in library services and programs
- Onboard and train Coordinators in basic and advanced reference, readers’ advisory, and technology support

What you bring

- MLS, MIS, or MLIS or Equivalent
- 2-3 years of public library experience or leadership and project management experience, including staff supervision, and programming, outreach, and community engagement
- Experience supporting diverse communities, including newcomers, neurodivergent individuals, people with disabilities, and those facing barriers such as mental health challenges, addiction, or homelessness
- Knowledge of early childhood literacy and experience promoting literacy development
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver creative programs for children, teens, adults, and seniors, and knowledge of local services, resources, and community partners

Pay: $36.24-$42.40 per hour
