and critical thinking skills.Demonstrated strong interest in, knowledge and understanding of literature and be able to share a passion for books and learning with students.Familiarity with a wide variety of literacy approaches, strategies, and methods of assessment.Demonstrated excellent listening, speaking, presentation and writing skills.Ability to maintain and troubleshoot the library computers, printers, and server.Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to implement teaching practices that align with the Professional Standards for BC Educators.Knowledge, understanding and demonstrated application of the First Peoples Principles of Learning, with a commitment to reconciliation and allyship.Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and the ability to establish/maintain positive, respectful, and team-oriented relationships with colleagues, students, parents/guardians, and community.Demonstrated ability to plan inclusively using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to allow multiple access points for learners with differing abilities, interests, and needs.Demonstrated ability to promote an effective classroom learning environment utilizing trauma informed perspectives, cultural sensitivity, using social emotional developmentally appropriate pro‑active classroom management strategies (supporting PBS and school wide initiatives).Excellent interpersonal skills with students, staff and parents.For Further Information Contact:Danielle Wicker, Principal; Devin Atkins, VP; Grant Kushniryk, VP; Kate Campbell, VP(604)795-7295#J-18808-Ljbffr
