Communication and Public Engagement (CPE) is the Government of Alberta's full-service communications, public relations and marketing division, responsible for enhancing communications between Albertans and the Government of Alberta.ResponsibilitiesPlan and supervise day-to-day operations of the communications branch, coordinating and monitoring staff and activities.Act as Director of Communications in their absence.Assist the Director in planning, developing, delivering and monitoring communications projects.Ensure standards are met and products are of high quality.Resolve problems that interfere with excellence in information and operations.Lead and advise on consulting, writing and editing.Coordinate cross‑ministry initiatives.Provide solid issues management advice and guidance.Manage or direct media relations activities.Align resources with the goals of program areas,
