The Technologist in General Radiology and Computed Tomography recognizes safety as a priority for Diagnostic Imaging Services, as each of us plays an integral part to building a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Manager, Diagnostic Imaging and Cardiovascular Services and under the supervision of the Charge Technologists, the General Radiology and Computed Tomography Technologist will be responsible for (a) providing safe, quality care and services to our patients; (b) upholding allpolicies and procedures of the department and the organization; (c) maintaining the safe operation of equipment; and, (d) participating in quality and safety initiatives.RequirementsEducation and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited training program in Radiological TechnologyCurrent registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)Knowledge of clinical CMRITO Standards of Practice and Code of EthicsMust show evidence of clinical competence through continuing educationCurrent CPR Certification and maintained throughout employmentSuccessful completion of CAMRT’s CT Imaging 1, 2,
