The role In this role, you'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Design leaders to shape product strategy, define experience vision, and deliver accessible, scalable, high-quality solutions.
Through leadership in UX strategy, design execution, and cross-functional collaboration, you'll drive measurable customer and business outcomes while raising the overall quality and maturity of the product experience.

- Establish UX standards and scalable design-system patterns that others adopt.
- Influence product direction through strong design rationale and customer insight.
- Build strong, trusted partnerships across Product, Engineering, and Research.
You will Lead UX Strategy & Execution
- Lead complex, end-to-end UX initiatives from discovery through delivery, including journey mapping, user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
- Translate business objectives, customer needs, and strategic priorities into scalable experience solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
- Manage multiple high-impact initiatives independently, balancing customer, business, and technical needs with minimal oversight.
Elevate Quality & Craft
- Establish and uphold UX quality standards across initiatives, including design reviews, implementation guidance, and design QA.
- Champion accessibility and responsive design best practices, ensuring compliance with AODA/WCAG standards.
- Drive the adoption, evolution, and governance of the design system, contributing scalable patterns, components, and best practices.
Drive Insight & Optimization
- Lead usability testing, experimentation, and optimization efforts, leveraging research and behavioural data to inform decisions.
- Synthesize analytics, customer feedback, and research insights to identify opportunities and continuously improve experiences.
Influence & Collaborate
- Influence product direction by communicating design rationale, trade-offs, and customer insights to stakeholders and leadership.
- Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape experience strategy, roadmap priorities, and solution direction.
Who you are
- 6 to 8 years of product design experience, including leading UX and interaction design initiatives across responsive web, mobile applications, and complex digital platforms.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design leadership, strategic thinking, and measurable business impact.
- Strong visual and UI skills, including layout, typography, colour, spacing, and component-based design systems, with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship.
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including design systems, component libraries, and advanced prototyping.
- Deep expertise in usability, interaction design, accessibility standards, and scalable UX patterns across complex digital ecosystems.
- Experience leading UX research, usability testing, analysis, and insight synthesis to inform product direction.
- Experience leveraging analytics and user behaviour data (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Quantum Metric, or Google Analytics) to inform product strategy and design decisions.
- Experience operating within Agile product teams, using tools such as Jira to support planning, delivery, and collaboration.
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies and development constraints, with experience using CMS platforms such as Contentful.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered tools like Figma AI and Copilot to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, design execution, and design QA.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and drive alignment.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously and lead initiatives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing eCommerce or service-based customer experiences.
- Experience in retail, telecommunications, or other customer-facing digital environments.
- Experience leading A/B testing, experimentation, or conversion optimization initiatives.
- Experience designing for personalization, recommendations, or adaptive user experiences.
