Recruiting at Plusgrade is actively being rebuilt around Workday and AI, and we need someone who wants to roll up their sleeves, lead a lean team, close key roles, and stretch across the broader talent lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

You will carry your own req load across various functions while leading a team of two recruiters during this 12-month contract. You will work in Workday daily and actively contribute to implementation and enhancement projects following our recent rollout. You will stay very hands-on in day-to-day execution, with the opportunity to stretch into broader talent management and talent development initiatives during quieter hiring cycles.

AI-assisted People systems handle routine summarization and logistics, leaving your focus clear for strategic hiring manager calibration and the decisions that require genuine human judgment.

What You Bring

- You have a deep background in full-cycle recruiting and bring a hands-on approach, comfortably driving complex searches yourself while guiding your team.
- You bring career adaptability, seeing slower recruiting periods as a natural opportunity to stretch into broader talent management and talent development projects.
- You have practical experience with Workday ATS or a similar system, allowing you to spot broken processes and partner with technical teams when enhancements are needed.
- When it comes to AI, you have moved past experimenting, replacing recurring manual work with workflows you built and refined yourself, and knowing when to trust the output versus when to apply your own judgment.




- You understand the ethical and privacy risks around AI in a People context, accounting for bias and personal data protection before automating any workflow.
