Key Responsibilities

- Lead V&V; strategy and planning across sensors, gateways, firmware, cloud, and integrated IoT solutions.

- Translate functional, performance, and cybersecurity requirements into test plans and specifications.

- Lead defect triage, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

- Design and scale Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and automated test environments.

- Develop Python-based test automation and API testing.

- Implement automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.

- Validate OTA firmware updates, connectivity, and end-to-end system behaviour.

- Analyze logs, telemetry, network traffic, and test results to identify defects.

- Produce V&V; documentation and collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM discipline.

- 8+ years of Verification & Validation experience.

- 3+ years leading V&V; planning and test architecture/design.





- Solid Python test automation and API testing experience.

- Knowledge of PyTest and GitHub Actions.

- Experience with OTA firmware validation.

- Experience testing connected hardware/firmware/IoT products.

- Knowledge of connected-product cybersecurity, including secure boot, encryption, TLS/SSL, authentication and authorization.

- Experience analyzing logs and telemetry and using Wireshark for troubleshooting.

- Strong communication, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.

Nice to Have

- TCP/IP, BACnet/IP, Modbus or Zigbee

- Smart building/building automation experience

- IoT sensors, gateways, thermostats or room controls

- HIL testing

- IEC 62443 or OWASP cybersecurity knowledge
