Our investment professionals use their financial skills to perform the day-to-day operations of the investment program.What you’ll doThe Analyst, Investment Risk and Compliance supports the oversight of investment risk and compliance for the Federation’s pension and benefit portfolios, ensuring investment activities align with fiduciary responsibilities, policies, risk tolerances, and regulatory requirements.
This role monitors public and private market investments, supports risk and compliance reporting, and contributes to strong governance and informed decision-making in support of long-term plan sustainability and member benefit security.What you’ll bringAn undergraduate degree in finance, economics or related field, combined with 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment risk, investment compliance, investment operations or institutional investment analysis.Completed or working towards a professional designation including CFA or FRM is an asset.Experience working with institutional investment portfolios, including exposure to public and private markets.Understanding of investment risk concepts, including risk measurement, stress testing and scenario analysis.Knowledge of financial practices and relevant legislation and regulations.Proficiency in Excel and investment reporting tools; familiarity with risk and performance systems is an asset.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret investment data in a risk and governance contextStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholdersHigh standard of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.What we offerA competitive salary range of $93,420.60 - $113,185.80.4 weeks starting vacation and paid time off to deal with family, health and sickness, and compassionate situations.100% employer paid benefits from day one.Employer Matching defined contribution plan, saving for your future up to 18%.Free parking.#J-18808-Ljbffr
