2 FULL-TIME, PERMANENT POSITIONS

RTX Electric is hiring Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Apprentices to join our growing team. We’re looking for motivated apprentices who take pride in safe, dependable, high-quality workmanship and are eager to continue developing their skills in the electrical trade.

Applicants must be willing and able to travel to project sites as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial electrical systems and equipment.
- Install conduit, cable tray, wiring, panels, fixtures, controls, and related electrical components under the direction of a journeyperson.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and schematics appropriate to your apprenticeship level.
- Assist with electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Work closely with journeyperson electricians, supervisors, other trades, and project teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work area.




- Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements.
- Travel to project locations as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Level 2 or Level 3 Electrical Apprentice.
- Commercial construction experience is preferred.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safe work practices.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and electrical plans appropriate to apprenticeship level.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced journeyperson electricians and supervisors.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willing and able to travel to project sites.
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation required.
