LaGrange Branch | Library Courier

The role of Library Courier is part-time and non-exempt.

Library Courier – 20 hours per week The OCPL Library Courier will work a regular weekly schedule.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 10 a.m.

- 2:00 p.m.

Salary: Starting at $16.00 per hour

Benefits: Sick and Vacation leave

About The Job

What You'll Do

- Load and unload boxes and various materials from the library van at all three library branches.
- Drive the library van between the three library branches and to other designated locations when requested.




- Use the library’s automated system to check materials in/out, process holds and answer inquiries.
- Sort and organize library materials.
- Perform related work as required and assigned for the efficient and effective operation of the library.

Education, Training, And Experience Required

- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and positive driving record to operate the library vehicle.
- Public service work experience.

Scheduling: Monday - Friday, 10 a.m.

- 2:00 p.m.
