Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Gas Fitter specialized in Generator Installations to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas-powered generators, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Your expertise will help deliver reliable power solutions to our clients, enhancing their safety and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and troubleshoot gas-powered generators in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance procedures.
- Conduct welding, mechanical adjustments, and use power tools to assemble and secure generator components accurately.
- Perform electrical work related to generator systems, including wiring connections and system testing.
- Engage with customers to explain system operations, answer questions, and provide professional guidance on generator use and maintenance.
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large generator units or components.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, inspections,



repairs, and compliance documentation in accordance with safety regulations.

Requirements

- Valid license as a Gas Fitter with certification for Generator Installations.
- Proven experience in welding, electrical work, mechanical repairs, or automotive repair is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical components related to generators.
- Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, heavy lifting equipment, and automotive or mechanic work.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar or similar engine brands is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to read technical schematics and follow detailed installation procedures accurately.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various environments requiring manual dexterity and stamina.
