We're looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse who can demonstrate a past practice of excellence in nursing care delivery, interpersonal and human relation skills. The preferred successful candidate will have 2 years of recent satisfactory experience. Current pediatric experience and/or evidence of ongoing career development related to pediatrics.

Applicable advanced certification within the desired/specific specialty area. Have up-to-date computer training. IV initiation competence is desirable. Must be physically able to handle job requirements

Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience,

Required Qualifications

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications

Ability and availability to pick up a combination of days, evenings, nights, weekends and short-call shifts
