Flex Friday (Friday off)Safe, clean work environmentVariety of tasks and opportunity to learnWhat will you be responsible for:Complete assembly and wiring of electrical componentsUse wire termination and component layout tools including but not limited to strippers, wire cutters, wire crimpers, screwdrivers, tee square, machinist square, tape measure, wrenches and pliers.Follow company established practices for wire termination, routing, bundles, wire harnesses and wire numbers.Mount electrical components including circuit breakers, switches, transformers, relays, contactors, terminals, input/output devices and/or all other related switchgear electrical devices.Meeting production schedules while maintaining IEM’s strictest quality standardsKeep work area clean and organized.Keep the supervisor informed of problems,



progress and suggestions in a timely manner.Adhere to established safety guidelines.Independently inspect own work for in‑process defects to ensure error‑free products.Mount devices to back panels and enclosures using a variety of methods including drilling and tapping.Identify opportunities that provide cost‑effective alternative methods to process and materials.Perform other duties which may be required by supervisor.What you need to be part of our team:High School DiplomaPhysically fit and mechanically inclined; prior use of handtools(i.E. impact drill/driver)Able to work in a manufacturing environment and perform physical requirements of the job, which may include standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50lbs and completing repetitive tasks for long periods of timeAbility to work quickly with your hands while maintaining accuracy and high qualityMust have own transport as there is no public transit in the areaProven Safe Work RecordStrong work ethic and motivation to learnMust be a team playerPhysical Demands:Activities: Sitting – 5% Walking/Standing – 95%Lifting: Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.Bending: Must be able to bend, squat, crawl and climb.Vision: Long periods of close work on small fonts and fine print on drawings and ability to see small or detailed items.Hand and arm strength: requires a strong, firm grip to hold onto wires for long periods of timeCoordination: frequent ladder useMental Demands:Interpret, analyze, research and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Environment:Shop/warehouse.
