The firm is primarily focused on projects that involve the restoration or management of river and shoreline systems, with integrated and standalone service offering.Essential Tasks:Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time using ADP payroll softwarePosting entries to the General Ledger, reconciling payroll and benefits accounts, and compiling information for payroll reports using ExcelAdminister employee benefits, deductions, and year-end reporting (e.G., T4s)Respond to internal and external inquiries for payrollMaintaining an updated knowledge of payroll requirements and legislations, and ensuring the company’s compliance to all relevant legislationEnsure ROE and termination information is processed accurately and within specified legislated timeframeHuman Resources SupportAssist administration of health and dental benefits plan and RRSP matching plan coordinationAdminister employee benefit forms for health/professional development spending accountsProcess employee vacation and time off requestsSupport recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processesHealth & Safety SupportSupport administration of online H&S management software (e.G., 4Safecom)Assist administration of H&S digital system and maintain H&S documentationSupport annual company-wide H&S audits (external and internal)Qualifications:Degree or diploma in Payroll, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 -5 years of experience in payroll, finance, or similar roleProficiency with ADP payroll software (Work Force Now) and QuickBooksFamiliarity with timesheet and expense software is an asset (Big Time)Knowledge of Ontario employment standards, health & safety regulations, and IHSA standardsProficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Solid attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and time management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environmentObtained or working towards one of the following designations, or similar: CPA or PCPValid G Class driver’s license and access to reliable vehicleJD # 34519 - Salary at 70K-80K range#J-18808-Ljbffr
