Responsibilities

- Develop and lead engaging activities that cater to residents’ interests, abilities, and care plans, including arts and crafts, music therapy, games, outings, and wellness programs
- Foster a warm and inclusive workplace that encourages socialization and community participation among residents
- Collaborate with care teams to assess individual needs and preferences, ensuring activities support cognitive health and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation, resident feedback, and program outcomes
- Coordinate special events or celebrations that promote community spirit and cultural awareness




- Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and external partners to ensure activities align with individual goals and safety protocols

Qualifications

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred
- Strong background in senior care or caregiving roles with a focus on enhancing quality of life
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to connect empathetically with residents of diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated creativity in designing engaging activities tailored to various needs and abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of seniors and those requiring special care
