Role Description This is a part time / full-time, on-site Life Insurance Agent role based in Langley, BC.
The Life Insurance
Agent will meet with clients to assess their financial protection needs, explain life insurance options, and recommend suitable products and solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and generating new business leads, preparing and presenting insurance proposals, completing applications, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role involves ongoing client service, including policy reviews, responding to inquiries, and supporting claims or beneficiary changes.
The Life Insurance
Agent will collaborate with internal partners, follow regulatory and compliance standards, and participate in training and development to stay current on products and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with the ability to explain coverage options clearly and ethically.
- Experience in Insurance Brokerage or working with multiple carriers to provide clients with competitive, suitable solutions.
- Foundational knowledge of Finance to discuss basic financial planning concepts and how life insurance supports long-term goals.
- Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, relationship building, and timely follow-up with diverse clients.
- Relevant provincial insurance licensing (or eligibility to obtain), and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a performance-driven, entrepreneurial environment.
- Previous experience in financial services, insurance, or sales is an asset; post-secondary education in business or a related field is beneficial.
