We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years cooking experience, a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations and also have experience cooking brunch. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking and cleaning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle food safely and efficiently, adhering to proper food handling techniques.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock is low.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on new dishes.
Experience
