Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, consistency, and timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks




- Ensure all food service activities meet health department standards and restaurant policies

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent skills in meal preparation and cooking methods across various cuisines
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of serving protocols and customer service expectations in a food industry environment
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred for success in this role
