Responsibilities
- Operate loaders, screening equipment, excavators, graders, backhoes, dozers, and other heavy machinery with precision and safety awareness.
- Manage material movement by loading and unloading materials efficiently while adhering to project specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines effectively.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation hours, maintenance needs, and safety checks to ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, graders, backhoes, dozers, and screening machinery in construction settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues on heavy machinery.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for demanding tasks.
