Your expertise will help us maintain and enhance access control systems, install new locking mechanisms, and troubleshoot security hardware efficiently.

Duties
- Install, repair, and replace locks, safes, and other security hardware across various locations
- Program and troubleshoot electronic access control systems, including keyless entry card access systems
- Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate locking solutions
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including service logs and inventory of security hardware
- Respond promptly to lockout situations or emergency lock repairs to ensure minimal disruption
- Collaborate with facilities teams to upgrade or retrofit existing locking systems for enhanced security
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on best practices for lock maintenance and security protocols
Experience
- Proven experience as a locksmith or in a related security hardware role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical locks, electronic access systems, safes, and master key systems
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Valid locksmith license or certification as required by local regulations (nice-to-have)
- Experience working with electronic security systems such as RFID, biometric scanners, or keypad entry (preferred)
