Located between Fort Vermilion and La Crete, Hill Crest Community School is gearing up to serve a diverse group of 324 students. In this position, you will deliver essential instruction targeting literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional growth for students facing challenges in these areas. A relocation to northern Alberta is required for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement targeted instruction for literacy and numeracy • Foster social-emotional development among students • Develop lesson plans based on individual learning needs • Regularly assess student performance and adjust teaching methods • Work closely with colleagues to improve educational outcomes
Requirements: • Must have a valid work permit or residency in Canada • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent degree • Qualification for an Alberta Teaching Certificate • Willingness to relocate to northern Alberta • Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Intervention Record Check
