Guided by our core values of Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Agility, we take ownership, collaborate effectively, and continuously evolve to better serve our consumers.What You’ll DoSupport and lead comprehensive investigations into incidents, including near misses and hazardous conditions utilizing root cause analysis to thoroughly examine each situation and identify contributing factorsFollowing the investigation, recommend effective solutions to address underlying causes and prevent recurrenceManage workers’ compensation claims for our Windsor sites and support escalated WSIB claims across our other sitesConduct hazard assessments, job safety analyses (JSAs), and risk evaluationsReview event cards and recommend timely follow‑up on corrective actions, ensuring implementation of any correction actions are completedTrack, trend, and analyze incident data to identify systemic risks and preventative measuresMaintain a regular presence across all three Windsor sites to reinforce safe behaviors and cultureEnsure compliance with all applicable legislative and regulatory requirementsLead toolbox talks, safety meetings,



and on‑the‑floor engagement and provide support to the H&S team in other locations to support their health and safety communications and activitiesCoach supervisors and employees on hazard recognition and safe work practices and act as a mentor to the health and safety team in our other sitesSupport the development and implementation of office‑based health and safety initiativesSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of the ISO 45001 H&S management systemDevelop proficiency in eCompliance LMS and progress toward a coaching roleTrack and maintain employee and contractor training and certification recordsSupport emergency preparedness by developing plans, coordinating drills, and evaluating effectivenessMaintain HSE systems and support supervisors in their useEnsure all HSE documentation is current, controlled, and accessible via SharePoint and internal platformsMaintain contractor compliance and third‑party management systemsDevelop HSE communications, including presentations, bulletins, and training materialsProvide guidance and support to employees, supervisors, HR, and functional managers on HSE mattersSupport broader HSE initiatives aligned with business needsTravel to other Jamieson sites within Ontario (up to 10%)What You BringPost‑secondary education (diploma or degree) in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health/Safety requiredProfessional OHS designation/certification (e.G., CRSP, CHSC, or equivalent) preferred3‑5 years HSE field in pharmaceutical manufacturing; food and beveragemanufacturing operations will also be consideredExperience working in a unionized environment is considered an assetStrong technical and interpersonal skills to identify HSE issues and partner with leaders to implement corrective and preventive actionsCapable of working and delivering in complex working environment and under pressureStrong computer and database management skillsAdvanced capabilities with MS Office, including MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint,



and Safety Software systems like (EHS Insight or eCompliance would be considered a strong asset)Excellent attention to detailThe ability to work well independently while understanding when to refer to other team membersCertification in Lift Truck operation and Working at Heights is a plusThis role requires the ability to walk for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, and perform computer‑based work at a deskWork environment is primarily indoors, warehouse and nutraceutical manufacturingCompensationJamieson Wellness offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support your well‑being and professional growth.
