Our client in the flexible packaging industry is hiring a Manufacturing Account Coordinator in Richmond, BC.Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Manufacturing Account Coordinator acts as a liaison between Sales and internal and external customers. While working together with the Account Managers and the manufacturing team, the Account Coordinator ensures that all orders are booked, produced, and delivered to the customers' expectations every time.What you will doCustomer Relationship responsibilitiesCommunicate with Sales and Customers through telephone, email and customer visits.Coordinate order entry (product specs, purchase order#, quantity, price, delivery dates, packaging instructions) accurately and in a timely mannerConfirm orders to customersPerform secondary review of other CSR's orders/pricingProvide customers with up-to-date inventory reportsPursue the release and billing of aged customer inventoryFollow up on customer complaints in a timely fashion, with corrective action if applicableScheduling and Operations responsibilitiesUnderstand the manufacturing processes and plant capabilitiesUnderstand our productsForecast lead times using ordering patternsKeep orders on trackForward information on all changes to Scheduler and production teamFollow up on status of orders and trials and communicate to Customer and SalesBook orders as soon as possible so that raw material can be orderedReportingOrder AcknowledgementsInventory ReportsMonthly Sales Report (forecast)Daily Jobs Booked InCustomer ScorecardsJob RequirementsAn equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.A minimum of three (3) years of Customer Service and Sales experience in the flexographic printing or packaging industry experience is considered a strong asset.Demonstrated proficiency in ERP databases, as well as MS Office programs.Ability to learn quickly, and to work with limited supervision but also in a team setting.Deadline driven and able to switch tasks with little notice, while maintaining a strong attention for detail.Demonstrated knowledge of print production issues and manufacturing processes.What we have to offerOpportunity to be part of a dynamic and highly motivated work environment where you can develop your potential and launch an exciting career.Development opportunities where your input makes a difference.
